About our Kindergarten

Our service offers both 3 and 4 year old sessional kindergarten in our newly renovated kindergarten.

Winifred Nance Kindergarten Incorporated is a community based kindergarten, which highly values the support and involvement of our kindergarten families within the educational program. Our stimulating, large indoor/outdoor play area presents children with opportunities to learn by being actively involved. It provides opportunities for problem solving, creativity, experimentation, research and investigation.

Our Educational Program

The curriculum is based on the belief that children learn through active participation in play. Central to this foundation is family, culture, and community. All of these elements of a child’s early life provide experience, and contribute to the child’s sense of belonging.

Our philosophy and educational program draws on current best practice, educational perspectives, theories, research and evidence.
